Team Rocket's new expansion announced!

It was only a matter of time but today the announcement that all Pokémon TCG fans have been waiting for has arrived: The Glory of Team Rocket is finally a reality!
The expansion, one of the most anticipated of 2025, will be officially released in Japan on April 18 and will have 98 regular cards (so excluding all the SIR and all the other special cards).

New Cards Announced Including Giovanni's Mewtwo!

Of course, there were also announcements of new cards, including Giovanni's Mewtwo-EX and the Art Rare of Meowth.

The other cards announced are:

  • Team Rocket's Persian ex

  • Team Rocket's Spidops

  • Team Rocket's Tarountula

  • Team Rocket's Porygon Z

  • Team Rocket's Porygon 2

  • Team Rocket's Porygon

A new item card and new trainer cards were also revealed:

  • Team Rocket Receiver

  • Team Rocket's Ariana

  • Team Rocket's Archer
  • Team Rocket's Giovanni

Exclusive Pokémon Center themed case!

Another announcement was also made that completely shocked every collector: on day one, an exclusive Team Rocket case will be available only at the Pokémon Center!

The price of the latter should be around €100 and inside we should find:

The Glory of Team Rocket in Italian: when is it released?

Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer for the Italian release of the set.

According to rumors, in fact, the Italian set will be called "Rivals Predestined" and will be available from May 30, 2025.
The Western set will consist of the Japanese sets Heat Wave Arena, The Glory of Team Rocket, and some promos featured in two decks to be released in the future in Japan.
